(1986-1993)

alright so this is a bit hard to explain, bear with me. undedicated musings is an anonymous newsletter-based poetry... publication? run by me, under the pen name 'chartreuse', and the whole shtick is that i write poetry, love letters, and whatever else to the person i'll end up spending my life with, but the recipient of said writings is completely unknown, even to me, so im kinda just writing to nobody. until! i actually set my eyes on someone (obviously rsl) and then the writings start to get a bit more specific and yearn-y and personal. since the recipient is anonymous, all the writings are written for a 'vermillion'. both chartreuse and vermillion's identities are revealed when we get married in 1993. and no, rsl doesn't know that i'm chartreuse, nobody does until i reveal myself. i think its kinda cool :3

film based - dead poet's society

(1988-1989)

so for starters, i was part of the crew that worked on the set of dead poets society, now all my friends (except kimya, her and i become friends in the late 90s) make sense! my actual job on set is kind of a vague be-here-and-do-a-bit-of-everything type deal, so there's no set title beyond "assistant to lead" even tho it's essentially government assigned 'friendship' LMAO. but! me and the cast get on like a house on fire, so i kinda just get to tag along on their wacky teenage-ish boy adventures. this totally does not stem from a desire to be part of a teenage boy friend group, and i am, in fact, totally cisgender. i am also lying. anyway, without going into too much detail, me and my s/o-not-yet-s/o (will be referring to him as rsl from this point on) sorta have a painstakingly long will they wont they type deal, because i guess i like torturing myself. we meet a day before all the actual film stuff starts just as a sort of preliminary get to know eachother because you'll be in close proximity VERY often for months. thats some time in march - june-ish? of 1988 (i shift to my dr the day before!) and we don't actually get together until june of 1989. so.

also! some changes to the movie because i can make those: knox overstreet is now played by matthew lillard instead of josh charles, because josh charles is a fucking zionist and i dont want to associate with him in any reality! knox also isnt a b plot to the movie at all, instead focusing on meeks and pitts because i find them much more interesting! and also knox's b plot is creepy as hell! also, the racism against natives (read this!) is completely gone! no thanks!

music based - MAURZI

(1988-2004 technically)

strap in boys because this is the main event of this dr and the lore is VAST. MAURZI (must be spelled in all caps, like MF DOOM) is a sort of musical person/character i've made to tell the story of via a series of albums. i release my first single in october of 1988 titled "lunarian", which is a fun little song about a being from the moon arriving on earth and having some inter-planetary culture shock. and thats the only song i've actually planned! i release 6 total albums that map out the MAURZI storyline kinda

- also bibliography (2004) but those are released as songs By Me and not MAURZI, just released under the same artist. MAURZI storyline ends with Waterworks.

now here's where you get the very extensive MAURZI lore. MAURZI is a sort of alternate-universe representation of me, where in i'm much more famous than i actually am in my dr, and i am absolutely RUINED by my fame in a fuck ton of ways. each album is a different section of her life so i'll explain it album by album. also for reference, in my dr capitalism/ currency isnt a thing, but in the MAURZI... verse? it is. because i like anti capitalist art! same goes for most other media im in/ participate in, actually. MAURZI uses she/her pronouns btw, i dont.

MAURZI - my self-titled album is about as close and personal to my life as i'll get, which an average amount because i still throw in some songs about shit that i have not at all done/ experienced. (ex. songs about cheating, toxic relationships, and things along those lines. thankfully ive had a mostly healthy relationship with relationships! except that one time!) MAURZI is new to the music scene but she's here to make some lovely tunes to help process some stuff! artists im taking inspiration from include (but are not limited to): sarah kinsley, dodie, jeff buckley, tv girl, mitski, and peach pit.

GONE TO SHIT! - MAURZI's first album blew the fuck up! now she's thrown into the midst of dealing with an incomprehensible amount of attention on her at all times, which she was absolutely not prepared for. what does she do to cope? sex drugs and rock n roll, baby! she also gets addicted to 2 outta those 3 things! can you guess which ones?? now, obviously, this album is entirely fictional and is only tangentially inspired by some life events, heavy emphasis on the tangentially. artists im taking inspiration from include (but are not limited to): the nonstick pans, panic! at the disco, forest, david bowie, chappel roan, and king gizzard & the lizard wizard.

Charmed - the love song album! this is basically comprised of songs i sorta wrote about rsl, but changed up a fuck ton because i wrote them while i was pining and did Not want him to knkw who they were about. in terms of MAURZI stuff, she meets someone just after deciding that she's gotta clean up her act if she wants to exist healthily. recovering alongside a loved one and them being a motivator for recovery! now i should specify here that MAURZI's s/o is not the same as mine, and is entirely gender neutral/ doesn't even have a canon(?) human appearance at all. they're named Vermillion because we love a callback! artists im taking inspiration from include (but are not limited to): the smiths, siouxsie and the banshees, james blake, queen, laufey, and her's.

I found Him in Santa Barbara - yknow how when a banana ripens too much and it starts to tuen brown? yeah imagine that logic but applied to recovery, i guess. NOW IS A GOOD TIME TO REITERATE THAT MAURZI AND I ARE TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND MAURZI IS JUST A CHARACTER. essentially MAURZI had a spiritual awakening and "found god." but what that ACTUALLY means is that she started viewing vermillion as a sort of god? but she's keeping it on the down low (making an album about it) because she doesn't want vermillion to thing she's CRINGE. themes of loving a god, being IN love with a god, being in lust with a god, temporarily thinking youre a god? stuff along those lines. its a bit intense, VERY experimental and.. heavy? both in themes and in musical style for some portions. this is my fav album out of all of them if you couldnt tell. artists im taking inspiration from include (but are not limited to): sleep token, WILLOW, type o negative, slipknot, lemon demon (specifically songs off spirit phone), hozier, violent vira, pierce the veil, gorillaz kinda, bjork, kate bush, deftones, destroy boys, and rammstein probably.

Waterworks - so yknow how MAURZI was having a whole trouble with god moment? yeah well thats gone now, no i haven't figured out how that'll work narratively, thats for me to figure out in like 10 years from now (now being 1988, naturally.) we've returned to our self-titled roots in terms of musical style! now we've just got some fun themes of trauma and such! and then that's the and of MAURZI as a character story wise, as i said earlier the album after this one is just a Me album. same artist inspo as self titled!

and guess what! music lore isnt even fuckin done! my music in this dr is a multiverse in itself goddamn. so basically the album covers for each album tell a completely seperate story about a completely seperate alter ego/ character/ whatever named Moonzi. name given by my audience (which is my excuse for coming up with such a shitty name and then keeping it.) the story of moonzi, without going into too much detail because i dont wanna type it all out, is a sci-fi type story about a being from the moon (lunarian callback!) on a quest to bring this space artifact back to its original place, basically. a bit more on it later, emphasis on a bit. also! each album cover is drawn by a different artist, and each album artist animates one official music video off their respective album, just cuz i like art and stuff! those music videos kinda follow the moonzi storyline loosely, but incorporate MAURZI elements. is this confusing? hope not. drawings!

can you believe im still not done? like not even close? certified yapper. anyway! my 3 fiction novels (Manchester, NH - 1991, Curator Rye, 1997, Sand Dollars + Pearls - 2008) are about my ocs basically! thats it really, i dont feel the need to share the plots of those tbh.

two? yep! one is a fictional autobiography about MAURZI (MAURZI - 1999) and one is a non fictional autobiography about me (Radio Free Marley - 2012.) take a shot every time i say MAURZI and you will need to get your stomach pumped. she just. she means a lot to me :3

so! my version of the doctor is kinda weird. its one doctor, but played by two people, but theyre one person. we're both the doctor. and by we i mean both me and rsl, obviously. the viewer sees the doctor as two different people, but NOBODY ELSE IN THE DAMN SHOW besides our little companion buddy guy (played by my cr friend fish!) SEES, ACKNOWLEDGES, OR IS ABLE TO VIEW THE DOCTOR AS TWO PEOPLE. its really complicated and i really did not have to make it that way, but its cool to me so i really dont care. also we're breakjng the doctor who cycle of boring suit and tie (this is NOT about you 15 <3) and going steampunk-esque. again, cuz i wanna.

marley veitch be in a show without rsl challenge (failed.) i play a character i made up named Nanette Amesbury who is essentially wilson's first ex wife. does he have a canon first ex wife? think so (i actually havent finished house oops.) do i care? you can take a guess. nanette (nicknamed ninny - which im well aware means dumb) is the director of the pediatrics department at princeton plainsboro and she kinda has a fwb type deal with wilson before figuring out shes a lesbian, having a crush on cuddy, being besties with kutner, then leaving the show in season 6. (zeth if ur reading this yes i made her show up for more than 2 seconds she just. means so much to me. also i want cudbury content.) im also a writer for the show so im there for its entire run time :3 i really like this show :3

So, Christmas is definitely a very commercialized holiday, to the point I don't get why some people think it's exclusive to Christians. Yes, if you believe it is definitely for you but everything else? The decorations, the trees, the festive atmosphere? Clearly for everyone, people should stop trying to gatekeep this (I don't know how unpopular this is with international folks, people I've meet in real life seem to have that problem tho).

'All I want for Christmas is you' can be annoying if you're listening it from the middle of October but as a song it's a classic and it actually is very nice.

On that note, why do stores start selling and decorating with Christmas stuff from mid October? Take these out of my face it's still fall.

Gift giving. I like giving gifts. I don't like receiving gifts tho, they never put much thought behind them and they always come across as non-personalized. I never buy anything to give if I wouldn't buy it for myself so I get very disappointed every time they give me 1: most generic thing ever 2: nothing (if I had a nickel every time I got someone a gift and they gave me nothing back I'd have a lot of money. I'd have even more money if I didn't get them anything to begin with but I digress).

So, Christmas 'foods'. Here we have some sweets, melomakarona and vasilopita (I don't know how international they are, probably not much).

These sweets traditionally are like these pictures. But. The last couple of years people started coating them with chocolate and let me tell you, I hate them, so much. It ruins it for me idk. Chocolate just, doesn't go with them imo.

The other foods are fine I guess (I love the turkey ngl but I don't eat pork, too fatty). Again there seems to be this 'turkey is for Christmas day!' well I'm not gonna be home on Christmas day we'll make it on new years eve (we actually open our presents on January 1st too).

Christmas movies can range from 'wow amazing' to 'I wish I could go back in time to stop them from filming this'. I hate the cheesy romance Christmas movies with a passion tho.

While fighting with my adhd for the past two (and more) months, I've managed to make OC profiles/cards/sheets/whatever you call it, for my (almost) every original character that's gonna appear/or already had appeared in my gta vc fanfic series.

Here's a small glimpse at these without spoiling anything! (It's half in polish, half in english by the way. I can't write in one language, I'm too far gone in the bilingual hell hole).

The photos you guys see in the screenshot are just for me and inspiration. Researching things was one of the things I've spent time on doing. About police ranks in the USA, stuff about 80s, laws in Florida in that time to stay as close as possible to canon and actual facts. Men's and woman's fashion, basically any thing you could think of what a person not living in the USA would google. It was educational but also tiring at some point. I still have a trouble understanding police ranks, and 'cause of that I'm not sure what rank Matthew Arsen would be. I'm probably gonna search more or ask a few people on some groups. I've decided that I also need to kinda rewrite or rather do a "remastered version" of the 1st part of the series. Some time ago I've mustered all my energy to reread it, and oh boy, I saw sooo many spelling mistakes, gramatical ones and just straight up plot holes and mistaking Matthew Arsen color hair for another character's one lmao. Imo it's bad and I'm gonna correct everything, probably writing more descriptions to some scenes, etc. My English is muuuuch better now than it was when I was still in highschool. Plus, I have a better beta reader too.

Also, I think I'm gonna write some warm up oneshots before getting back to writing the 2nd part of the series. I still have some requests from anons on tumblr, plus my own ideas. himalayan wild yak

📅 dinner; July 2023. 1st time

😋 overall: the centering of yak on their menu makes this nepali restaurant stand out. they don't fuck around with their spice combos!!! everything we tried had complex, interesting flavors that made me want to keep eating (except for the desserts, which were mid). I'd come back to try literally everything else on their menu

🍹 mango lassi - tasted slightly more yogurt-y than mango-y, but a strong-enough mango flavor that I didn't complain upon 1st sip. I wouldn't mind getting it again

🍸 cocktail that I forgot the name of - they didn't put much alcohol in this but I forgive them because this was a delicious drink. i'd get it again!

🍹 zero-proof cocktail that had citrus in it - in love with this flavor combo. this was tangier than it was sweet in a way that made every sip interesting. i'd definitely get it again!

🥩 grilled yak (medium rare) - what a delicious cross-section. I can tell that yak is a tough meat, but the sous vide worked to make it tender. they seasoned this meat simply but effectively; it was a tasty bite. just 1 bite. lol between 5 ppl this appetiser portion was gone way too quickly!!

I would get the entree portion next time lmao

🥟 steamed buffalo momo - honestly I don't remember much about this dish but both the momo and the accompanying sauce were delicious. I don't remember the buffalo having a distinct taste tho 🤔 I was kinda afraid that the buffalo would be tough but then again it's steamed meat.

I'd get it again! I love dumplings lol I wanna try their veg ones next

🍛 spicy pork curry - man we fucked around and found out. this dish (labeled VERY SPICY tbf) HURT to eat a few bites in 🥵🥵🥵 I forgot the texture of the pork but I know it wasn't dry. I kept going back to the sauce even though it was spicy as hell (I felt like a masochist)

I wouldn't get this again cos i couldn't take the heat 😭 like you know when a dish is so spicy that you have trouble focusing on the actual flavors? and then the spiciness lingers in your mouth for a LONG TIME even when you eat other dishes? 😭😭😭

🐐🍚 [in the 1st photo] bone-in goat biryani - they are LYING when they say that it's for 2 because it easily fed our table of 5!!!!! they brought out a whole pot and mixed it right in front of us!!! i looooved the bits of burnt rice. the goat wasn't tough, the spice level was bearable (compared to the pork curry at least lmao), and the spices themselves were wonderfully warming in my mouth. we had like 1.5 portions of this as leftovers

I want this again but also I don't because I wanna try everything else on the menu and my stomach real estate is scarce 😔 what a dilemma

🧄🫓 [in the 1st photo] garlic naan - I'm conflicted whether or not i'd consider this dish as having a reasonable portion cos the slices were a good size but each piece was pretty thin. I definitely wanted more after my piece was gone 😆 the garlic was fragrant but I feel like they could've been heavier with it (but also i'm the type who puts 4x the recommended amount of garlic in recipes).

i'm a sucker for garlic naan. I'd get it again!

🍡 gulab jamun - lots of gulab jamun end up being a chore to eat because they're so soaked with their sugar syrup that they're overwhelmingly sweet. that wasn't the case with this dish tho (maybe that was also accomplished by using honey rather than sugar). as for the yogurt- I feel like it didn't add much to the dish other than being a light element to counteract the heaviness of gulab jamun.

I wouldn't get this again tho like it's not that interesting

🍮 kheer - this is prob the most fragrant rice pudding i've ever had. it's kinda lacking in the taste department tho 😔 slightly sour, in a good way, but not much else going on. it was refreshing to eat after the spicy entrees

I wouldn't get it again. this dessert also wasn't that interesting

💲 price: we were definitely very full! I was surprised by how affordable the food was- each entree was less than $20 and each dessert was $4-5. considering that it's is like 1 of the only restaurants in the DMV that spotlights yak, they offered it at a much cheaper price point than I expected.

🗒️ other notes: this restaurant is COLD AF 🥶 also their space is so huge; I appreciated that they spread out their tables. land is cheap out there in ashburn I guess

I don’t know if it’s because I’m a medical student but as soon as it’s November 1st, I was officially counting the days until break would start. So when break arrived I was soooo excited (+ I got to go back to Canada). But then, since you’re normally so busy, having no work feels so unusual and by the time you adjust, its already time to go back to school again… (;ᴗ;) This is what I got up to over the break ^.~

For the first few days, I just chilled for a bit and kinda adjusted to the house that my family was staying in within our neighbourhood (note: the basement at my house burnt down last semester, so everything is getting renovated and the things that can be cleaned are in the process of being cleaned >_< ). My family then went on a road trip to a nearby town where my dad works (though we had to wait until my brother arrived, also an international student).

When we finally got there after 7 hours of driving, I honestly couldn’t go out much because my younger brother was finishing his IA’s and my older brother was studying for his last semester. If you have strict parents then YOU KNOW you can’t really go out when the atmosphere is like that σ(￣、￣〃) I did do some work of my own like plan a little for the step 1 (USMLE) and look over the courses I have to take this semester. It was break after all tho, so I watched some movies and tv show I didn’t have the chance to watch when school was on. A few days after new years we drove back and I had a bunch of fun. I went to the theatres and watched Avatar and the new Wakanda movie (they were released in exam season so I couldn’t go watch them), went shopping, did a bunch of other fun stuff, and I got my hair braided to go back to school!

I felt stupid. I felt useless. I know I'm not!!!

got the message saying I failed my teaching job interview... thought I did well. i really tried.

it might be that I did so horribly on the written Japanese test, or that I'm not qualified enough, or it's just...they don't like my vibes

I could be doing something wrong. with everything I've tried so far professionally. what is it then? Jesus fucking what?why?

there could be 10o0o0o00 reasons so let's not jump into conclusion too quick. let's not overgeneralize too soon. let's... idk

hyper-fixate helps(hazbin hotel, u guess it), but I need to get back on track some time soon. I enjoy what I'm doing to distract my miserable ass rn, but this is all temporary. I know. I know...

December 10, 2023: Looking in the mirror, the weariness of recent days showed on my face, making even simple tasks like getting ready for a bath a bit challenging. I couldn't help but laugh at my reflection, because I look a bit of an effin' homeless hobo. My growing bump, feeling a bit heavy and seemed bigger than expected, is a typical trait from my Poppa's side of the family. Memories of a similar experience with my first baby, JD, made me smile. I miss JD being a baby. He’s so big now.

Despite the restlessness, my dedication to the creature inside me remains strong. I continue to take Duphaston, Pre-Natal Vitamins, and Anmum to ensure that whatever it is inside me remains healthy. I am still adjusting from my new norm of working from home but today felt different; I woke up feeling a little better from getting a good night’s sleep which was a relief from the preceding restless and insomnia driven days then I decided, it’s time for my 1st TransV Ultrasound.

En route to the diagnostic center, a thought crossed my mind: is it safe to ride a motorcycle in my condition? A thought I quickly dismissed. There’s not much of a line there compared to hospitals, I had other preggy tests done first, then came the ultrasound. Excitement built as I prepared to see my baby for the first time, I prepared my phone putting it on record when I noticed a sign saying that taking photo’s and video’s are not allowed. It frustrated me since I remember it being okay during JD’s time. How will I see my baby moving in my tummy when I’m at home, tho?

The Sonoligist already inserted the thingymajiggy inside me when I noticed a sudden change in her face, then came in the question, “Nagsspotting ka ba?” I answered, “No, why? May problema po ba?” My heart raced as I bombarded her with all sorts of questions, but the stupid bitch’s only response was “Pabasa mo nalang sa OB mo, or kung gusto mo dito ka na pacheck-up?” I tried so hard not to punch her in the face, I kept my cool and told her “It’s okay, mabilis naman mag respond and OB-GYN ko sa mga messages ko, salamat.” My husband stared at me, aware that this bitch’s testing of my patience was pushing my pregnant limits. On our way out of the room, a word she uttered to her assistant grabbed my attention; “Subchorionic Hemorrhage”.

My heart races fast because such a big word must mean something really bad. While calmly waiting for the Transvaginal Ultrasound results, the receptionist hands me my other preggy test results, assuring everything is normal except for my elevated blood sugar. Which was ironic, considering my pregnancy cravings revolve around all things mango. Yet, this was the least of my worry, as I've already googled the unfamiliar term voiced by the sonologist.

Despite our initial plans to visit my in-laws, my husband decided to head home, driving his motorcycle obnoxiously slow, somewhat realizing that using the motorcycle today might not have been his best choice. Anxiously, I clutch my stomach, praying that whatever it is inside me is fine.

Praying and hoping that everything will be fine.

Dear diary , 17:11

Today is the first day of September, the first day of fall, my favourite season. It has been a rather confusing day, not in the sense that I didn't know what was going on but in sense that it has been a plethora of ever changing emotions and that's pretty tiring.

Yesterday was, what i would consider a perfect day. After months of trying my mom finally let die my hair with color shampoo and would turn out marvelous (and it kinda did)but we run out hair colour. Yesterday, I was feeling full of giddiness and excitement and part of me felt like today wouldn't live up to it . Even tho it did , surpassed it even.

I had no reason to feel this way. My itinerary was filled to the brim throughout morning and noon and still i had a quiet afternoon and night. I had English class as I woke up and then at noon I would meet with my best friend, Cleo who finally returned home after a month and a half of vacation. Then grandma would come to see my brother (who I hadn't seen for two-three years up until two days ago) and the rest of our family, followed up with lunch. After that my dad would buy more dye and we (aka my sister Mary) would tidy up my hair . Perhaps, later we would go to the beer festival, my brother works at, again .

So morning came and to say the least the excitement of yesterday withered away and I was tired and did things half hazzardy. I kinda blame mom for that one as she wasn't listening to me and proceeded to kick me out of the bathroom to pee. At least I ate what was left over from my strawberry cream filled chocolate bar 🍫 which put in me in a much better mood. English class was okay but i was pretty distracted which showed on my listening grade ( 86,7% from a 95%). When I FINALLY saw Cleo , happiness was buzzing outside of me. I treated her to some jellybeans and we talked for about two hours . Upon my arrival home , grandma was already there and i was sent to the supermarket for last minute things (and noodles). We soon ate lunch, after that. Then dad went to drop her home and pick some hair colour while my brother left for work. Right after, we watched reruns of Shopping Star 🛒 and chilled.

Dad just arrived with the hair dye so i expect soon my roots, middles and ends will all be died dark red (cherry red according to TikTok)

After some more chilling and making a quick stop to get plastic gloves, Mary coloured all my hair. They were awesome. I took a quick glance before rinsing and they were already gorgeous. So imagine how beautiful they were after everything. Mom curled my hair (she planned to put rollers but ended up not to) and then I did my makeup, put on my outfit from earlier and took SEVERAL photos. I even posted them on my story on Instagram and many of my friends and even aquitences said it looked good.

(so im gonna go chronological in the order i bought these)

so my first ipod was my fourth gen shuffle (left), which i got in store in 2014 or 2015. my mom bought it for me and i was actually very disappointed because i really wanted a 7th gen nano, but they were 200 bucks or something so that wasn’t happening. but i ended up using this thing religiously through middle school and into freshman year. i’d load it with podcasts and listen to it on the bus. shuffles r really great and i love that they don’t have a screen, i think they’re very cute :-)

then i got the fourth gen nano (right) off ebay refurbished in 2018 or so. my dad bought it for me because i really wanted to “upgrade” from the shuffle. unfortunately the thing got the spot™️ like two months after i got it (these nanos are so thin that when the battery swells with age it pushes against the screen! very unsafe, definitely a fire hazard), so i went back to the shuffle. lucky me though up that i found the nano earlier this year under a pile of junk

so this is my classic 5th gen (30GB thin model)!! i bought him myself in summer of 2023 and i love him so much :D usually i have him in a hard plastic case but i replaced the battery a couple days ago so he’s free at the moment. my favorite favorite thing about him is the engraving

ITS SO CUTE 😭 HE WAS AN ANNIVERSARY GIFT!! the misspelling of wife 😭😭 the “Love, me” (why didn’t you just put your name?!?) it’s all fantastic. silly and interesting engravings are my favorite and this is the funniest engraving ive ever seen imo so i think i definitely lucked out on him.

NEXT ARE MY MINIS!!! I also bought these on ebay, but I got these in august and september of this year respectively. the pink mini is a 4GB 2nd gen and the green one is a 4GB 1st gen. there’s no major differences between mini generations besides some minor cosmetic things and an improvement in battery life

these two have names! the pink one is named shirley and the green one is named cricket :-) i imagine they r fashionista besties

shirley needs a new battery (her battery life only lasts 20min :( ) but she does have music on her from the original owner. I bought cricket refurbished (new batt and hard drive). cricket is very interesting because they are actually produced in korea, which is why I bought them. not exactly sure how rare of a find korean ipods are here in the states

ok so these are two black 5th gens (30GB models again), the right one is a 5.5 gen tho so it has a search bar. so I bought these in september because i recently started an ipod ebay page myself, mostly so i have an excuse to buy and repair them. unfortunately i am unemployed atm so I can’t keep everything i get, and i want the ipods i sell to go to loving homes. it’s not about the money at all for me. ANYWAYS i flash modded these two with iflash solo and 256GB samsung SD cards (plus they got new batteries and screen replacements). i need to test the battery life on them and then i will list them and eventually send them to their new homes </3 i actually have a third black 5th gen in my drawer rn but bro was having motherboard problems so I’ll have to deal with that eventually :/

THIRD GEN CLASSICS R SO PRETTY THEY ARE MY FAV IPODS AESTHETICALLY I THINK!! I actually have three of these but two r open rn so im going to show you the nice semifunctional one. this is suzy (didn’t come up with that, that’s just the name in it), and she is lowkey haunted because when I was testing the drive she made the most unholy loud noise and idk where that noise came from because ipods don’t have speakers!?!?! anyway she’s a 20GB model (all my 3rd gens I have are), and she still has music on her (and old recorded spiritual radio shows from the 2000s!), i would love to look through her properly to see what’s on here but she’s unfortunately mac formatted and I don’t have a mac. she also needs a battery replacement which ill do eventually. im saving my third gens for last with the repairs because they r pretty finicky

Hello Clowns! The premiere of OOL won’t stop me! As if that wasn’t enough— I will not forget doing CPN especially if it’s 👀.

Okay, so GG shared some photos from his time during the shoot of OOL. The selfie we are talking about is this 👇🏼, taken in Gu Wei’s house.

• Let’s start with the date marked on it, 11.8.2019 ( for those of us who are not used to how they arrange dates, that’s 8/11/2019 which is also the first day of filming ) Hmm. Wait, what else happened that day you ask? Oh. I have a clue. It was the date a certain someone went on a moto race. 🏁

So was this really for us? I mean GG said it himself, he went through photos from that time so it’s stock photo . Did he take a photo to send? Checking in like it’s his 1st day at work and imma send it to the love of my life. It also looks like wechat camera, compared to the quality of other photos, so it’s likely he took it with the intention of sending it to someone. Anyway. Thank you laoshi for sharing the crumbs! I know a certain WANG YIBIS gets all the best selfies but thank you for sending one our way. 🙏🏼

Someone also pointed out why did he have to write the date? Why can’t he just screenshot, cause phones tell you what date things are taken. I know he’s all artistic and stuff and like to put his personal touch on things but the (other) CPN is, could it be Web sent it to him? Maybe he asked Web to send him a selfie he had of GG during that time.

How about the cat? This is not the first time GG shared a capture of that. He did back in 10/22/2019. We know he loves cats so of course he would take a photo, not everything has to be about Web. But I gotta say, that particular date? They were allegedly together around that time. The succession of photos after that, the bread and jianguo ( which have their own CPNs ) only adds to this. ++ If you clown hard enough, look at the reflection and make up a cpn about that. 😂 tho the person reflected is too big to be yibo at the time. 2019 yibo was not the bo-ge we have today.

• Now let’s move on to the background photos. This is a set, so everything are designed by the production team. However, we know how careful he is with what he shows. He even blurs the background most times right?

1. It’s a bunny and dog. Like wtf coincidence is this. We know that the bunny is GG. and the Dog? The gouzaizai? Well, the same man who wears a bone necklace. Did he pose with that background intentionally? It just adds to the CPN that he sent it to a certain someone.

2. If you notice the ears of the Dog, it’s the same form as Bobo’s panther. I honestly don’t need any more proof that GG made that you know, but this is (probably) a clue of where the inspiration came from. This was 2019, the panther made it’s debut after that so it’s possible.

• Some Kadian today, It’s 20 = 8 = Bo. I am having flashbacks to the time he was shooting OOL , he used lots of Yibo based kadians. && The galaxy brain kadian is 28. Love Bo.

• The set design with the lights reminds us of Nian’s cover. What a lovely coincidence. 🤍

• During the presscon, his answer to this question was so savage. I mean he is Chongqing pepper, but it just reminds me of how Yibo would answer in interviews.

• For his Gu Wei Monologue, where he said that bit about : “Every character I play has a part left in my body.” just reminds me of WWX. He really does that. He embodies the role, but more so with WWX. It’s what makes him a really great actor.

• This bit in the presscon where he talks about GW and LZX : “Love at first sight will last for a long time, right? The first time I see her, I will feel very special, not very similar to the people I meet in life.” It is a question about the fictional characters but I can’t help but feel soft of his view about love at first sight. This is the same guy who said he likes a love that takes time in 2019. Then in 2020, he is not so firm on that and actually is more open to Love At First Sight. Why? 🥺🥺🥺

• That “ ~ “ sign again. We talked about it before, but that came up in YBO’s birthday post that we all know IN OUR BONES was written by Xiao Zhan. It’s not even CPN. I don’t care if we have no proof. That’s a Xiao Zhan composition right there.

• The 18th ( 18 = Yibo ) Line in his post today starts with “2” love. Ahhhh ~ special numbers. I was wondering why he had no spaces in his essay post today. Maybe this is why. 🤷🏻‍♀️ also you can look at this to see how he usually formats his long character posts and why this is different.

Lastly, the Ferris Wheel. In the group of photos he shared, one was included. It is a pretty sight and i’m sure it was one that caught GG’s attention during filming. He is a photographer, he has an eye for that. But the timing of him selecting that is just so 👀. Why? 3.14, before airing, BXGs celebrated their first meeting and one thing that was heavily shared was the Ferris wheel BXGs got to light up for the Occassion. I’m wondering, did he see that? Is this some way for him to acknowledge what BXGs did and that he loved it? 🤍

How long has it been now? Weeks? Months? A year? Time can be a bit of a blur after the suns disappearance, you can lose track of how many days it has been as the sky always remained that dark red hue. Even if a long time as passed you can still recall the same events that happened some time ago.

You had joined hank,sanford, and deimos on a raid, no reason in particular you just wanted to come along. A tingling feeling that something will happen, uncertain if it was the feeling of impending doom looming over your head, or something far different. Whatever it was you wanted to be present for it, a change you wouldn't want to miss after endless raiding and passing out from the random drops in temperatures as of late. Damn your cold bloodedness...

The building you all came across was empty, almost barren much to hanks dismay. Dust and cobwebs littered about with some knocked over desks,chairs, and broken lab equipment. Deimos and sanford wandered to the next room to find supplies on the right and hank went up ahead to a room across the entrance,normally you would follow hank or the duo but decided to go on your own for a change of pace and go to the room on the left.

The lights in the room flickers, barely holding onto the ceiling from their age but they still did their purpose. Despite the flickering you can still see everything fine, you didnt see nothing special at 1st just knocked over tables and a dry blood covered vending machine until in your peripheral vision you saw something move.

You was not alarmed or afraid, the thing looked small, almost the size of a mouse compared to you it couldn't possibly be anything harmful. Yet something told you to check what it was, silently you wandered over to where it moved, behind a bar that was in the room with broken glass all around. When you peeked over to see what it was you saw a grunt, it was smaller then a average, one less then half of the size of one. A small child...

"Hello" you said as calmly as you can muster, a jump and a small squeal was the childs response before it cowers and starts to cry "go away! Go away scary monster!!" It cried, you did not take offense. A faceless being made of shadow and as tall as you are can scare anyone, even to a poor defenseless child "its ok little one i wont hurt you..." You attempted the calm voice again, you receive no response as the child continued to cry in fear. You wouldn't want to leave it alone, so you waited for the others to find you and stayed out of the childs line of sight so you dont scare it more then you are.

Once the others came you asked sanford or deimos to carry the child to the van, hank scared the child too so you did not bother to ask him. After several minutes deimos managed to pick up the child and you all went on your way back to the HQ...

It did not take a lot to convince 2B to let the child stay, it only took you a simple phrase "i am adopting them, dont stop me" with determination in your tone. He only sighed, frankly a little tired from all the shit the group has gone through and mumbles a "ok" leaving it at that. The child had no name, so you named them with a name that even a employer like yourself would be jealous of but you sometimes still call them little one,because they are.

The child trusted 2b right away, clinging onto him like they saw a monster under the bed...only the monster was you. Whenever you get close to them both the child hugs him and cries, begging him to make the monster go away. 2b tries his best to claim you are not a monster and your not there to hurt them but he's not the very best at consoling people. It does hurt a little to see the child be so afraid but you can understand why too, being new to this parenting life it is difficult to know what to do in these situations...at least 2b had your back in this.

Eventually the child called 2b their "dada" and it just stuck, seeing him as their father. You always grin at this with your human like teeth with sharp canines at how adorable it is, whenever the child sees your teeth they always freeze in place and just stares. At this point no longer crying from fear but still freezes up and stares at you like a deer in headlights, you could not tell if they are getting used to your presence or if they had ran out of tears to cry... Either way you assumed it was progress. Seeing the interactions between 2b and the child warmed your heart, they always eager to help 2b with his work or help put bandaids on hank when he gets mildly injured. They even see sanford,deimos, and hank as their uncles now, such as deimos giving them piggy back rides, sanford drawing with them, hell even hank, the most well known killer in nevada, even had a soft spot for the child, letting them climb on him like a tree.

It was all so incredibly sweet and you was fine with it, even if you are just the big monster under the bed to them you are glad they are happy with a nice family.

....

Now its the present day, with you, doc, and the little one only present at the HQ. Looming over your loves shoulder to see him work on the tablet in his hands and the child is drawing with warn out crayons and ripped paper just a few feet away, the child had gotten more comfortable around you but not by much. They never got startled by you anymore but still stares at you like a deer in headlights when you speak to them, they do talk to you though and still address you as "monster" not as (mother or father or other) and you was alright with it. As long as they are getting better.....

"You are lost in your thoughts again" 2b spoke in the comfortable silence "sorry...just wondering some things" you replied with a sigh, standing up straight no longer looming over his shoulder "ill let you get back to work dear" you said before slowly approaching the child "little one?" You spoke in the same calm tone as before,they looked up at you with the same look as before "are you hungry? Do you need anything...?" You asked kindly, they nod their head looked away for a sec before looking back at your featureless face "noodles?" They asked "sure. Ill get you some" you unintentionally grinned with your spooky like teeth and walked out of the room.

As you was getting the food ready for your child the trio had returned from their raid, hank covered in blood with a large machine gun strapped to his back stomped past you and sanford stuck around with you, deimos is nowhere to be found "where is deimos?" You asked sanford "he picked something up for the kid, so he's looking for them" sanford replied, taking a seat on the kitchen table "good to know" you left the conversation at that taking the ramen noodles and walked back to 2bs office, stopping to see deimos walk out. He waves at you "oh hey s/o" he greets "kid wants to talk to you" he continued before walking past "alright?" Confused you walked inside.

2b is still sitting in his chair with his tablet in hand, nothing seemed to change on his part but the little one seemed very excited and happy. You walked over to the child and crouched down to give them their meal, they took the food and set it down and looked up at you happy. No longer full of fear or that wide eyes look they give "look monster look!" They exclaimed, voice sounding a little muffled showing fake vampire teeth in their mouth "i got sharp teeth like you!" They continued, the words almost hit your heart by how cute it is.

You let out a fake gasp, playing along with them "oh! So scary!" You pretend to be afraid, receiving a little giggle from them "rawr!" They screamed with their hands in front of them like they would attack you "oh no! If only someone came to help!" You continued to pretend and glance at 2b, who looks at you with a unamused look in his eyes "raaawwrrr" the child continued to play "aaahh! Doc! Please help!" You pleaded trying your best to hold back a laugh, with that 2b gets up and walks over and picks up the child "gotcha" 2b announced with a subtle grin under his mask "noooo! I wanna scare monster!" The little one laughed, followed by your chuckling. "Rawr!" The child attempted to scare his father "oh no! They got me!" 2b played along too, still holding the child in his arms. It was so uncharacteristic but so adorable from him, you laughed and grabbed them both in a hug "now i caught both of you" you grinned "aaah! Monster got us!!" The child laughed "whatever shall we do?" 2b chuckled.

The little one looked up at you and patted your empty face with their tiny hands "boo!" They yelled and you faked a yell, let them go, fell backwards, and pretended to be dead on the floor. The child laughed "i defeated the monster!" They praised themselves as 2b set them down with a grin, the child wandered over to you and pat your featureless face again "im big and scary just like monster" they smiled before you reached over to pat their head.

"You sure are little one..."
